| Leigh Camera Club meets on Thursday evenings from September through May. Meetings are held at the Leigh Community Centre, Guests are welcome at all meetings. Throughout the year the club schedules a beginners workshop, summer get togethers and exhibitions and participates in regional competitions. We are a friendly club to all with an interest in photography. People of all ages, whether beginner or more advanced, are welcome. Our programme is a varied one of lectures, practical evenings and several competitions with an Annual Exhibition of members work at the end of each season.
We are a member of the East Anglian Federation of Photographic Societies, and often hold competitions between other member clubs in the region.
Thursday evening meetings are the main activity of the club with about 50 or so members attending each meeting for guest speakers, demos, competitions, fun evenings and much more.
