RICHARD MADE WILDLIFE ENTERTAINING

Richard Revels, FRPS, showed just how to put over an evening of wildlife photography and make it entertaining as well as very instructive.  Though he claims to be a naturalist first and a photographer second many of his pictures of birds, butterflies, mammals and flora were absolutely stunning. This was emphasised by the fact that so much of his photographic work gets published in magazines. What is more there was plenty of humour in his beautifully timed talk though he may have put a few potential wildlife photographers in the club off the art by his timely warnings about the risks involved. Another great evening at the club for all who came along. Thursday, November 16 sees the second colour print competition of the season for all classes with another probable bumper entry for the critical perusal by judge Bernard Smith.
