It has been a very busy opening to the new season at Leigh Camera Club with the club
successfully mounting displays at two Southend Arts Council events. The Visual Arts
Exhibition at Southend Library for two weeks and the big open day at
Southend Cliffs Pavilion.
These have both attracted new prospective members to the opening meetings.
The first illustrated lecture at the club was on Thursday, September 14, when the experienced Mike Woolnough, LRPS, from Tollesbury, showed and talked about a great variety of his prints ranging back to his early work among the people of London, through his love for the little ports and harbours of Essex to some fascinating pictures from Holland. |
