The judges for the recent 78th Annual Exhibition of Leigh Camera Club were at the opening night of the new season meetings on September 14 to explain why the prints and transparencies they had chosen received their awards. Then they presented the certificates, cups and shields to the lucky winners of the 12 classes in the print section and the eight classes in the transparencies section. |

Russell Lindsay of Ipswich, who had the mammoth task of judging more than 430 prints, was very clear on what distinguished the best from the also-rans, while Vic Hainsworth from Colchester said he was delighted with such a good entry and commented on the high overall standard of the slides. Both judges said how much they enjoyed looking at the club members’ work |
