Vic Hainsworth from Colchester is one of the best judges seen at Leigh Camera Club and judged the Annual Exhibition transparencies this year and was at the club just three weeks ago commenting on his winning choices.
He returned to the Leigh club last Thursday (October 4) to judge the first colour print competition of the new season.
What a good job he made of this giving clear photographic reasons for his marking with a lot of humour in them which were matched by club president Jeff Goodman who hosted the evening turning it very much into the Vic and Jeff show, which really was much more entertaining than the average talk show on the box.
What is more Vic managed at the same time to impart loads of photographic knowledge and tips to everyone from beginners to the most experienced.
Top marks in the beginners class went to Chris Lawrence and Ron Compson with an outstanding 19 points out of 20, while in the |
