EAST ANGLIAN FEDERATION (EAF) COMPETITION TO BE HELD ON 14TH FEBRUARY 2010.

We have agreed to enter this competition again and if you would like us to consider your work, please submit images to me after Christmas at the 7th January 2010 meeting, in suitable folders for protection.

We will look at any print which has gained points of 9 or 10 in club competitions over the past year or 1st/2nd/3rd or highly commended at the Annual Exhibition, which meets the criteria as stated below:

We need 30 prints – 15 mono and 15 colour – the total overall size of each being as follows:-

All prints must be mounted on a rectangular card 50cm x 40cm

(19 ¾ x 15 ¾ “).  We have found that the EAF judges like black or white frames and often coloured ones have lost marks for an image.

And the print MUST be adequately backed to avoid damage.  The minimum print size acceptable is 308sq.cm (48 sq.ins).

Prints will not be accepted if they have Velcro or loose sticky labels.

All images must be the sole work of the author.

Natural History means: animals or uncultivated plants in their natural surroundings, geology and phenomena not produced by man.  (A copy of the full rules will be available on December 17th)

We look forward to seeing lots of your lovely images and selecting 30 to represent the club at Harlow in February next year.

Ps: please attach a label stating Not for Web use if you do not wish the EAF to use the image on their website.
