It is assumed that in emailing your image to the webmaster, you are giving permission for the image to be displayed.


Please email the image files as an attachment to leighCCwebmaster@yahoo.co.uk

If during the monthly competitions, your photograph scored a 9 or greater we would like to display it to the world on the club web site. To minimise the administration of this process, please follow the instructions below to send them to me.

Using Photoshop to reduce the file size

1. Load your image
2. Select Image Menu
3. Choose Image Size
4. On the Dialogue box -
First set the resolution to 72dpi, then the longest side to 450 Pixels. The shorter side will automatically set itself.
5. Select File Save for Web
Set the file type jpeg, Medium and
Quality 30
6. Save with a meaningful name and close.
Do not say yes if it asks if you want to save the PSD file. You might overwrite the original with the low resolution version.
